If your order is a gift, leave a note in the comment section at checkout specifying that it is a gift and the date it will be given.

You can also send your order directly to the recipient. Just ensure the delivery address is set to the recipient's address, and the billing address is your own.

Every package includes a return slip with details on returns and exchanges (return shipping label is not included, as return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility). The slip lists the items received, but does not display any prices. The invoice is sent on e-mail to the buyer.

We use PostNord's PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service for eligible shipments to the United States.

This means that applicable import duties and customs clearance fees are paid in advance.

No unexpected customs charges upon delivery – for eligible PDDP shipments, you will not be asked to pay additional import duties or customs clearance fees when receiving your order.

Please note: shipments with a declared goods value above $2.500 are subject to different customs arrangements, and import duties and fees may be payable by the recipient.

All SCHERNING jewelry is crafted by hand from pure materials

PORCELAIN is made at our Portuguese workshop. The porcelain clay is colored and cast in plaster molds to create the finest little pendants. After the first firing, each piece is glazed individually and fired again. Each pendant is then decorated in hand, before the third and final firing.

ENAMEL is carefully applied by hand to each piece of jewelry in our own workshop in Copenhagen. As every piece is handcrafted, natural variations may occur from one to another.

STERLING SILVER consists of 925 parts pure silver and 75 parts copper. Since 100% pure silver is too soft to create durable jewellery, this alloy of fine silver and copper is used instead. 

All our sterling silver is hallmarked with the 925 purity mark, and our nametag SCH is registered with the Noble Metals Control.

GOLD PLATING is always in 24k fine gold and carried out at a traditional Danish workshop.
