When purchasing jewellery from SCHERNING Copenhagen on the website www.scherning.dk, the following terms apply:

All prices listed in the webshop are in DKK incl. Danish VAT (25%). We reserve the right for typographical errors and sold-out items. As our jewellery is handmade, minor variations may occur from piece to piece. The jewellery may also vary slightly compared to the photo shown of the piece.

After you have completed your purchase in our webshop, you will receive a confirmation email for your order. When your order is dispatched from us, you will receive another email with information about this.

At SCHERNING.DK you can pay with credit cards and MobilePay. The following credit cards are accepted: Dankort, VISA-Dankort, Maestro, MasterCard, and Visa Electron. SCHERNING.DK is approved by PBS and uses a secure SSL connection - we receive notification of credit card payments via the banking institutions, and therefore never come into possession of your credit card details.

We use QUICKPAY as our payment gateway, and the actual purchase is conducted through QuickPay's secure payment window. ("After clicking 'Complete your PURCHASE', you will be redirected to QuickPay to securely complete your purchase.")

Payment for your order will naturally only be deducted from your account once we have dispatched your order.

Free delivery to parcel shops (with a minimum purchase of DKK 299)
For purchases under DKK 299, parcel shop delivery costs DKK 32.
If you want the package delivered to a private address, this costs DKK 29.
(if you buy for under DKK 299 private delivery costs DKK 45)

Shipping price for EU zone 1: DKK 65.
EU zone 1 countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, and Sweden
Shipping price for EU zone 2: DKK 149.
EU zone 2 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.

If you order before 14:00, we dispatch the same weekday.
Denmark: Day-to-day delivery (Mon-Fri).
Outside Denmark: 2-5 days

You will receive notification via email/SMS when your shipment has been delivered to the selected parcel shop and is ready for pickup. The shipment is issued upon presentation of valid identification within the parcel shop's opening hours. The shipment will be kept for a maximum of 7 days before the package is returned to us as undelivered. Remember that you can follow the progress of the shipment via the provided Track & Trace.

Please note that failure to pick up your purchase (at the parcel shop) is not accepted as a cancellation of your order. As we are charged freight for the uncollected package returned to us, SCHERNING reserves the right to invoice the customer for the return freight.

Orders placed with private delivery are dropped off in your own mailbox at the delivery address. You do not need to be home to receive the package.

Unfortunately, it can sometimes happen that an item is sold out. If your order cannot be dispatched within the normal deadlines, we will contact you with information about the expected delivery time.

If you do not wish to wait, you can choose to change your order to another piece of jewellery or cancel your order. Payment for your order will naturally only be deducted from your account once we have dispatched your order.

In the SCHERNING.DK webshop, Danish sales law applies, including a 2-year warranty. If you are not satisfied with a piece of jewellery you have purchased, or if you have changed your mind, you can easily exchange or return the item. You must notify us within 14 days from the day you receive the jewellery at shop@scherning.dk that you have changed your mind or wish to exchange it for another item. Please include your order number in the email. You then have 14 days to return the jewellery to us.

Please note that failure to collect your purchase at the parcel shop does not count as cancellation of your order.

The jewellery must be unused and returned in the same condition you received it, and in the original box. You are responsible for the postage costs associated with returning or exchanging the item.

We recommend that returned or exchanged items be sent as parcel post. Please use the same (or similar) packaging in which you received the jewellery. We do not accept return packages sent to a parcel shop – a return is only valid when it is delivered directly to our address. (Note that for example, DAO cannot be used, as they do not offer delivery during shop opening hours).

Fill in and attach the return slip, so we have all the information we need to exchange/take back the jewellery.

We will refund the full amount of the item to the same bank account from which your payment was drawn during the purchase.
