Personal data includes all types of information that can in any way be attributed to you. When you use our webshop, we collect and process a range of such information. This happens, for example, by ordinary access to content, if you subscribe to our newsletter, register as a user, use other services, or make purchases via the website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your IP address, geographical location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent you give explicit consent to this and enter the information yourself, we also process: Name, telephone number, email, address, and payment information. This will typically be in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a customer and to complete your purchases and payments, as well as to provide the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. Additionally, we use the information to optimize your shopping experience.

Storage Period

The information is stored for the period permitted by law and is deleted when no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. It is therefore not possible to specify a general timeframe for when information is deleted.

Disclosure of Information

Our webshop is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide our online e-commerce platform that enables sales to you as a customer. All data stored via Shopify's data collection, databases, and use of the webshop is stored on secure encrypted servers with a firewall. We have no data stored on our own/local network.

In addition to the data collection by Shopify & mentioned third parties (see below), required for the site to function optimally, your information is not disclosed or sold to third parties.

The webshop has the following cookies/integrations from third parties:

All third parties have committed to solely storing and processing personal data on behalf of Scherning and may not use it for their own purposes. Cookies are used on the webshop in connection with Google Ads, Facebook advertising, and Klaviyo. These are used to display more relevant and personalized advertising across websites, Google, Meta, and in newsletters.

Payment Gateway & Security

SCHERNING København is approved by PBS/NETS, and all card data is sent via a secure SSL connection. We use QuickPay as a payment gateway and therefore never obtain your credit card information.

QuickPay's payment solution uses SSL encryption in communication with acquirers. Likewise, SSL/TLS encryption is used in communication between customers and the server where QuickPay is located. This means that all information sent over the internet is encrypted with a security certificate.

QuickPay is certified according to the latest version of PCI DSS Level 1.

Cookies

The website uses "cookies," which are text files stored on your computer, mobile, or similar device for the purpose of recognizing it, remembering settings, performing statistics, and improving your shopping experience. It is possible to delete or block cookies.

Counts the number of page visits from a single customer.

(unique data, stored for 2 weeks)

Stores information about the contents of your Cart.

• _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional

storefront_digest

(unique data, not deleted)

If a password is used for customer login, this cookie is used to confirm it.
